If I buy the 1TB plan, will I still have Classic?

I have lapsed for a year. I need to migrate from Classic to cloud.

I seem to remember something about being able to use a trial version of Classic to migrate in cases like this Johan. Does that ring a bell with you?

The OP does not need that. The only time you need a trial version of Lightroom Classic is when you want to migrate a catalog that is too old (a Lightroom 5 catalog, for example). In that case you need to upgrade that catalog first, and you can do that with a trial version of Lightroom Classic.

No, you won't. You don't need Lightroom Classic to migrate its catalog to Lightroom, however. You do so from Lightroom desktop, not from Lightroom Classic.
