Changes in the number of likes

Once my image edit is featured, I can see that in the Featured catalogue of Lightroom. However, each time I scroll left or right on the list and return back to my edit, the number of likes changes abruptly. It doesn't show the correct number and is random. Sometimes its lesser and sometimes its more than what it's originally is. Even if only the owner of the edit can see the likes, he should be able to see the correct number each time.
