Changing name for one photo changes it for a few more

I got a photo where the AI has tagged the wrong person. I try to correct this, but when I do, the name is replace for three other photos. What should I do to change the name for one of the photos but not the other three?

Legend

I would normally go to the named person tab and highlight the thumbnail. Then right-click and choose remove from person photo. Only the selected photo is removed.
