Cloning tool in iPad fails to hold edits

I'm editing a photo on my iPad Pro 2022 12.9 5th generation. I'm using iPadOS 15.61 and LrCC ver. 7.5.1 I'm using the healing/clone tool. I select an area to be cloned and Lr selects an area suitable for replacing the orignial. I then click on Done in the blue oval. It does not complete the clone but returns to the original photo prior to using the Healing/Cloning tool. What am I doing wrong.

Also, I don't know how to remove a selected healed/clone area.

I've searched for a good tutorial on using LrCC for an iPad. Most are focused on using the iPhone. Suggests on tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @allentim1947

I can't reproduce any problem with Clone or Heal.  I tried a couple iPads and an iPhone.

Could you possibly share a screen recording showing the issue you see?  It might help us understand the problem better.

Here's how to make a screen recording: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935

Thank you for your help and your effort to duplicate my problem. I decided that this had to be a glich in the software on my iPad. I deleted the app and reloaded it. It now works correctly.

Again, thank you.
