Color profile change

My Nikon Z7 II took a fall, so I'm back to using my Z5. After a few days I began noticing that my photos looked awful upon opening Lightroom for iPad. I then noticed that the import color profile has changed from Temp 5350 and Tint 10 to Temp 5100 and Tint 11. 

 

Is there a specific reason why this was done? If so, can I change it back somehow? My RAW import is (and has been) set to Adobe Default.

I could also mention that my images have more of a green hue (less magenta) to them. I've hardly ever had to change any of the color settings as I've always been happy with them, but it seems like I'm having to put forth more effort to get my colors to look like they used to.

Hi @BlueRidgeButler, Thanks for reaching out! The change in color temperature and tint you're seeing could be due to differences in how Lightroom applies the Adobe Default profile to RAW files from different camera models. Even though both your Z7 II and Z5 are Nikon mirrorless cameras, Adobe creates separate default profiles for each, which can result in different baseline white balance and color rendering.

Let's try a few things:

1. Try switching the profile from Adobe Color to a Camera Matching profile (like Camera Standard or Neutral).

2. Set the white balance to As Shot instead of relying on Adobe's default interpretation.

3. If you prefer the Z7 II look, you can create a custom preset with your preferred Temp/Tint and apply it on import.

No, that doesn't sound like the same thing.

I've been editing the Z5 photos with all the same settings for 2-3 years
now. I set my camera white balance to 5350 and leave the tint in the middle
and it imports into lightroom mobile at 5350 and +10 tint. Well, that's
what used to happen. Even when I go into lightroom mobile and manually
change it from Temp 5000 tint 7 back to 5350 and 10 the colors don't look
the same.

I tried doing the Nikon colors in the past and didn't like it.

I've been taking photos of the Blue Ridge Mountains the entire time I've
been using Lightroom mobile, and the colors have always been the same with
the Z5 and Z7 II. I dropped my Z7 II so I can't comment on that anymore,
but I've changed nothing with the Z5 or Adobe import settings.
