Connection error : error with registration PUT : could not resolve host : photos.adobe.io

hey guys,

Out of no where i got this error and i cannot access lightroom. 

 

I have tried:

  • restarting laptop
  • go to different versions of lightroom
  • uninstall and install
  • using different internet connections
  • update macOS

I am stumped and i cant find anything to fix this. 

 

Anyone experienced something like this?

So this is definitely network related.   I turned off my ethernet and hopped on to a guest wifi and Lightroom launched w/o any issue.  As soon as i went back to my regular ethernet network I got the same error.  

I'm on a MAC Studio M2 w OS Sonoma 14.5

As correctly pointed out by @Efrain378823786867. This error is related to how your internet network is configured.

Please try using a mobile hotspot, or a different internet network source & check if the issue exists.

Hi,

 

How do we fix this without using a different internet source? I can't just buy a whole new wifi set up to fix this issue?

Hello @Dewa378684766jsn .   I'm having the same issue (identical error message).  Not sure how to address this but will keep looking.
