constant crash in lightroom

The application frequently crashes even with low memory consumption and plenty of available space. For about 3 weeks, it has been on an increasing curve of slowness and crashing.

Could you share the version of Lightroom you're using along with the version of Windows you're running? Did the issue start after an update to Windows or Lightroom?

Try resetting the Preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned below:

1. Quit Lightroom.

2. Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.

3. While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom.

4. Click on Yes when you see a dialog asking you to confirm if you wish to reset the preferences.
