Could not import photos and videos

I am using Lightroom version 2015.7 and the problem is on my Acer computer.
I tried importing photos from SD card using a memory card reader but there is a page keep popping up and said "The following files were not imported because they could not be read or the destination folder is not writable"

Please let me know how I can fix this problem? Thanks
