Crashing on startup

 Lightroom will not open past the watermark. I've tried uninstalling, windows updates, driver updates... Everything. Ive even tried it on a different computer. Same thing happens, But using LR on the web works fine. If anyone has had the same issue and found a fix. Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey, @KalebTwitch38458279iks1. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. 

Did you change the installation location for Lightroom via the Creative Cloud desktop app, or did you change registries to change the default installation location at the OS level?

 

What troubleshooting steps have you tried? Besides Lightroom crash, check the Processes in the Task Manager (Windows) for unexpected read/write operations & resource utilization.

To begin troubleshooting, test some variables like:

  • Unplug any external peripherals & use wired input devices.
  • Reboot the computer in Safe mode with Networking & check if Lightroom launches as expected.
  • Unplug external drives.
  • Temporarily, unplug extra displays & only keep one active at a time.

@Sameer K I get no crash dialog. I open LR and it goes to the water mark and then it will just exit. I see in the top right before it exits it says "Sign In" But I am already signed into Adobe Cloud?
