Creating preview stuck at 44%

I have stacked my photos and now trying to merge them using Adobe Photoshop lightroom 4.1 from Mac app Store. It freezes everytime when creating preview at 44%. Help!

Regardless of the age of the thread, this does not help. I have the same problem today. Is there a fix since it does not seem to have been adressed by any updates?
