Default Image viewer disabled after installing Lr.

So after i subscribed and downloaded Lightroom, my Microsoft Photos App does not function anymore. it is still installed but a prompt will appear saying "installation failed. Contact app vendor". I could not use my default photo viewer on my laptop. photos can only be opened with lightroom app. Anyone having the same issues? please help. Thanks...

by the way, "Open photo with" option only shows Lr and the Microsoft Photo(default image viewer) is lost.
