I doubt if you would have much luck, but you can try this:

Alternatively, do you back up to iCloud, and if so, one option could be to wipe your device and restore from a backup previous to the Lightroom 5.4.0 Update, which I think was August 18th?

This though may not be as smooth as it sounds and could lead to other non-Lightroom issues.

Or maybe use a spare device and restore from an old iCloud back up and see if that works?

I've got the same problem...

I had exacly the same problem. Today i went to the app and everything from the past 10 months was gone, and it was there like a week ago. Don´t know how to fix it too.

I am also having trouble.  I clicked on the little cloud at the top and then it re-synced and MOST of my abums then loaded.

However I am still missing my current album for 2020 that had at least 100 images.  I just came here looking for help and see that I'm not the only one.
