Hi! When using lightroom I import photos from folders in my OneDrive, if I delete them within Lightroom does that also delete them from my OneDrive files?

Hi @artoflasso,

Great question, and it's an important one to clarify. In Lightroom (cloud-based), here's how deletion works when photos are imported from a local folder such as OneDrive:

• Delete x Photo

– This deletes the photo from Lightroom and from its original location on disk

– Since your photos live in a OneDrive-synced folder, they will also be deleted from OneDrive

• Remove from Album

– This only removes the photo from the current album

– The photo remains in Lightroom and stays in your OneDrive folder

If you want to keep the files in OneDrive, please make sure you use 'Remove from Album' instead of 'Delete x photo'.

I hope this helps prevent any accidental data loss.

Best regards,
