I have a similar issue.  Before or after adding a photo, my Denoise is grayed out with the triangle and exclamation marks.

I just re-downloaded Lightroom after several years due to frustration, and now I can’t even choose Denoise before or after I download a photo.

How do I fix this please?

What message do you get when you click on that triangle icon?

As the youth say, “my bad”.  I was mistakenly using a jpeg, not raw, file…

Thank you for your note.

It's possible that the new version has a bug that causes noise to prevent it from being used.
There has been no official announcement, so I can't confirm this.
If possible, try reverting to the previous version and using it.
