Denoise Compatability

Over the weekend, I was editing a gallery and used denoise just fine. Today I opened it and it will not allow me to use denoise on those same photos. I can see where I now have the "enhanced" photos from those  used denoise on over the weekend, but the same photos and others are now giving the prompt that this photo format is not comptabile. I have no idea how to solve this! They were all shot on my Canon R - the files are all CR3 files. No settings were changed on my camera. I even factory reset it and then set my format to plain raw and still same issue. Does anyone have any insight here? I uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom. I am on a 2019 Macbook Pro with the following specs: 

Graphics:

AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Processor: 

2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9

Operating System: 

13.5.1 (22G90)

    Hi, 
    I have a quite similar issue with fotos from a Panasonic G9. I was able to process a relatively large amount of fotos (arond 600) and after a new import of new pictures into Lightroom, it stopped working.
    I tried to denoise (with the same functionality) one of those fotos with Photoshop respectively Camera Raw and that worked without any problems.
    I am working on an MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 CPU with Sonoma 14.1.2.
    Would be nice, if anybody could help ...

    Try zooming to 1:1 with the development tools showing first just before you call enhance. Do note that you can't yet enhance any of the reduced size raw formats (s-raw etc) but that is not what you're trying. My guess is that the image hasn't downloaded from the cloud completely. Note that Lightroom Cloudy relies on cloud storage for its images. You can choose to store a copy locally but in the default setting, all images are copied to the cloud and that is where they reside. To edit, the full raw has to be downloaded from the cloud. This is even true if you imported orginally from local storage. Lightroom cloudy forgets about that original link as soon as you have imported.

    They are not in the cloud, I do not have cloud synced, it is set to not sync.

    Do you have Apple Photos managing these images? Apple Photos has a setting where photos are offloaded to iCloud to save space on your Mac. Only a small link to that photo remains locally, so that could be the reason why all of a sudden Lightroom can't use these for Denoise any longer.

      No - they are stored on an external drive.
