Denoise hanging at update AI settings

Hi

I have not been able to apply denoise to my images.

When I apply denoise, the apply AI settings takes a few seconds but does not apply the denoise effect. The image shows that I need to update AI settings but this also does nothing.

I am using Lightroom 9.1 on Mac OS 15.7.1. I downgraded to 8.5.1 a few weeks ago but had the same issue. I have also deleted my RAW settings from my computer and user libraries.

Can you show some screenshots of what is happening before and after applying the settings? Also what hardware are you running on?

Thanks for getting back to me!

I apply denoise by using a preset or copying and pasting the denoise setting. The setting is applied but AI settings need to be updated (first pic). Clicking the update AI settings button opens up the progress window but the task completes in a few seconds with no result (second pic).

I'm using a 2020 MacBook Air.
