Denoise no se activa en Lightroom 8.5.1 con archivos RAW válidos en Apple M1

Estimado equipo de Soporte de Adobe,

Reporto un bug crítico en Adobe Lightroom (v. 8.5.1) en mi MacBook Air M1 que impide por completo el uso de la función "Quitar ruido".

Resumen del Problema:
Al abrir cualquier archivo RAW compatible (en mi caso, Sony .ARW) en el módulo de Revelar, la opción "Quitar ruido" está visible, pero la herramienta no se activa. El botón "Mejorar" se puede pulsar, pero en el cuadro de diálogo, la casilla de "Quitar ruido" y la barra deslizante de "Cantidad" permanecen deshabilitadas (en gris) y no se pueden utilizar.

Este comportamiento ocurre con todos mis archivos RAW, incluyendo aquellos que ya había procesado con Denoise exitosamente en versiones anteriores y con archivos RAW nuevos recién importados.

Especificaciones del Sistema:

  • Aplicación: Adobe Lightroom 8.5.1

  • Hardware: MacBook Air M1 (8 GB RAM)

  • Sistema Operativo: macOS (el problema ocurría tanto en la última versión estable como persiste en la beta actual de macOS 15).

Diagnóstico y Pasos Realizados:
Este no es un problema de rendimiento o de falta de recursos. He confirmado que la Presión de Memoria del sistema es baja (verde) y el archivo RAW original está disponible localmente. He realizado los siguientes pasos de diagnóstico sin éxito:

  1. Reinstalación completa de Lightroom y Creative Cloud usando la CC Cleaner Tool.

  2. Restablecimiento completo de las preferencias de Lightroom.

  3. Reinicio del motor de la GPU (desactivando y reactivando la aceleración gráfica).

  4. Pruebas con archivos RAW nuevos importados a una base de datos limpia.

  5. Forzado de la recreación de previsualizaciones 1:1 y la relectura de metadatos.

Conclusión Técnica:
El hecho de que la interfaz de Denoise se muestre pero con sus controles deshabilitados sugiere que el motor de Camera Raw no está reconociendo correctamente los metadatos del sensor del archivo RAW o, más probablemente, falla al inicializar el componente de IA que depende de la GPU. Por alguna razón, Lightroom determina que el archivo no es apto para el proceso, a pesar de ser un tipo de RAW totalmente compatible.

Este es un bug fundamental que bloquea una de las herramientas más importantes de la aplicación. Ruego que se escale este caso con urgencia al equipo de ingeniería para su investigación.

As you pointed out, this could be caused by a faulty Camera RAW plugin. Let's try removing and reinstalling it. Make sure all Adobe applications are closed before doing this.
 
1) Open Finder.
 
2) Click on the Go menu in the menu bar and select Go to Folder....
 
3) Type the following path and press Enter: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plugins/CC/File Formats
 
4) In this folder, look for a file named Camera Raw. plugin. To remove it, drag this file to the Trash. Just so you know, you may be prompted to enter your administrator password.
 
To reinstall Camera Raw, please check out this Helpx article for the download link and steps: https://adobe.ly/46DU9HR
 
Try denoise again once you're done.

This is great news! I wanted to let you know that your last suggestion worked perfectly.

I manually removed the Camera Raw.plugin file from the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plugins/CC/File Formats folder and reinstalled it using the link you provided. After a restart, the Denoise feature in Lightroom is now fully functional again, just as it was before.

It seems the issue was indeed a corrupt Camera Raw plugin that wasn't being fixed by a standard reinstallation.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Please find attached a short screen recording demonstrating the issue. As you can see, when I open a compatible RAW file (.ARW) and try to use the Denoise function, the "Amount" slider and the checkbox are disabled (grayed out), making it impossible to apply the feature.

Regarding your question about the operating system:

Yes, the diagnostic log shows macOS version 26. However, it is crucial to understand that this issue was already happening before I updated. The problem started while I was on a stable, public version of macOS (Sonoma). I only updated to the beta as a final troubleshooting step, but the bug has persisted across both the stable and the beta OS versions.

The core issue seems to be independent of the OS version and is likely a bug in how Lightroom's Camera Raw engine interacts with the Apple M1 hardware on recent macOS releases.

I have already performed a full clean reinstallation using the CC Cleaner Tool, reset all preferences, and tested with brand-new RAW files, all without success.
