Desktop App is not responosive

Guys! I DESPERATELY need help. All of a sudden, my lightroom is NOT responsive AT ALL on my desktop mac. ive tried uninstalling, installing, updating my mac. NOTHING. it just lags and lags at the beginning and then i have to force quit. im sooo upset.

Hi,

lets try to get some more info first. How old is the Computer, how much RAM, HDD, etc. is installed? Are there other Tools running parallel that can be switched off? Hope that helps.
