Didn't know I was syncing to Adobe servers - just deleted all my folders and albums

In trying to utilize fill & sign in Adobe acrobat I found I couldn't upload a 200kb file to my adobe cloud. Upon research and assistance from tech support I discovered that for the past serveral years everything I did in lightroom was being stored in the adobe cloud.
Support suggested i could delete that data off the cloud and then turn off syncing on the app. So I did just that. Deleted all images, folder and albums off the adobe cloud. Only to have the app immediately sync upon launching and delete all my albums, folders and other data.
The customer service guy was horrible and couldn't or wouldn't help try to recover that data, and basically said my years of work have been lost. I know I still have the images locally, but all of my organization and editing has been lost.
Does anyone know if those albums are retrievable? Does Lightroom CC store any sort of preferences that I can reload to recover locally on my mac?
