Does Lightroom support canon r with an ef lense

I have used an older stand alone version of Lightroom to defisheye my photographs, I have bought a canon r with ef adapter and use an ef 8-15 1.4 lense . The older version is having problems with this, will a newer version/subscription work with this setup.

Yes, the subscription version of Lightroom Classic does support that camera. If you need to stay with your current version you could consider using the free stand-alone Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the DNG format. Your current version should then read them OK.
