If you double-click the top of just about any window in OSX the window will maximize (not enter full screen).

This doesn't work in Lightroom.

Is this a bug?  Can it be fixed?

I don't think this ever worked in cloud Lightroom for as long as I can remember as it doesn't use a normal OS X window. It behaves normally in Lightroom Classic which does use a standard OS window. To maximize the window in cloud Lightroom you need to alt/option click the green lozenge. The full screen widget will change into a plus as soon as you hit the alt/option key.

    Hi there,

Sorry that you cannot maximize Lightroom from the "+" sign on your Mac.by double clicking the window bar up at top.

Could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're using? To verify that you have the most recent version of Lightroom:

    Choose Help > System Info.

Are you working in the Normal screen or Full screen mode? Please provide us a screenshot so that we can help better.

    Thanks,

    Akash

    Version: 2.3

To be clear.  I didn't mention anything about the Green "+" icon - so this post has nothing to do with that.

    Please re-read.

    Sorry about the confusion.

Did the issue started appearing after the recent update for Lightroom 2.3? How long have you been facing the problem?

Are you able to maximize using the "+" sign? It is meant to do the same operation as double clicking the window.
