Question

download issues with 6.1

Greetings. Over the holidays I have upgraded my Lightroom to your latest version - 6.1 on my MacOS. I use a Nikon D850 and it seems I can no longer download my photos from my camera to my Lightroom. I have tried everything from the obvious of double checking software updates; cable connections etc. It seems to connect to the camera but no downloading occurs. Just to be sure, I hooked up my old computer with an older version of Lightroom and it worked fine so I know there is a bug somewhere and wondering if you are aware of it and, hopefully fix it soon?

regards

Are you able to see your camera in the finder window? Does Lightroom have Full Permissions? What version OS are you on?

Yes I can accass my camera. It makes the connection, the green light comes on on my camera (as it should) then usually I only wait about 20 seconds before the photos start downloading but this time after the 20 seconds the green light just goes out and no transfer is made.

My current version of OS is Ventura 13.1

Can you confirm that Lightroom has Full Disk Permission in your Privacy and Security settings in your System Settings? There are some subtle changes in the the way the Settings look in Ventura from previous OS version.

Do you have a card reader either external or on your computer?
