Downloading photos on mobile through a shared link

Hi,

I love the option of sharing my photos with friends and family directly from Lightroom. The problem is that they mostly use mobile and not desktop. When they open the link on their phones they :

1. See the photos in a very reduced quality (here-below printscreens of the full photo vs. how it's shown in the sharing link),

2. When clicking on download a photo - there's no option to add the photo to the photo app / gallery - really bad UX,

3. The same for downloading all photos - it proposes me a zip file with no possibility to add the photos to a gallery.

Am I missing smth or sharing photos is not adapted for mobile?

Thanks,

Leonid.

Hi @Lgoncharov!

Unfortunately, sharing photos can lead to a decrease in quality. However, if you'd like to suggest adding options for better photo sharing, I recommend posting on our Ideas board. The dev team reviews all suggestions there.

Here's the link: Ideas Board.

Thanks a lot!

Hi @Lgoncharov! 👋 Welcome to the community!

How are you sharing the photos? If you're using the "Get a link" option, could you please make sure you've checked the "Allow JPG download and export" option?

Thanks a lot!

Alek
