Dumped out of Lightroom, settings lost

got dumped out of Lightroom again, classic failure, lost all of my settings on a complicated edit, super frustrating.  Program was open for about an hour after my edits.   should have been plenty of time for the program to save the edits I had performed.  Version 8.4

Can you make it a more stable program that saves edits before crashing?   Doesn't seem like it,  I think I need to start using my Capture 1 software more.

Can you please improve the stability of the program and the recovery so that it includes all of the editing before the crash!
