Question

"Edit in Photoshop" not working in Lightroom Cloud (Windows)

I've been using Edit in Photoshop quite often, and it has been workiong just fine until today. Now once I am done in Photoshop, I save and close the image, and then nothing happens. The photo doesn't update in Lightroom, but I can find it if I scroll through those arrows in the upper left (no clue what that is called), but then I can't use my existing masks or anything with it anymore. I'm not sure what to do, I keep trying the process over again, but the photos just do not come back into Lightroom anymore.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi there,

Thanks for highlighting this issue.

Which version of Windows and Lightroom have you installed? Did you recently update the application?

Also, is there more than one version of Photoshop installed on your system? Which image format are you working on?

"Edit In" will not work if the original files are unavailable to Lightroom. Where are the images located?
Could you please try deselecting "Use Graphics Processor" in Lightroom's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Lightroom and let us know if it helps?

Also, you can try resetting Lightroom's preferences using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e.

Please back up your preset prior to resetting the preferences.

Thanks,
