Edit without internet access

I might need to edit without internet access whilst working in rural areas for two weeks. Is this possible? I've only been able to edit with internet access in the past and can't figure it out...

Yes, this should be possible for 4 weeks. Lightroom needs to have something to work on, however. That means that you should save a local copy of smart previews or a local copy of the originals. See https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-cc/using/preferences.html
