Editing on iPad pro but edits go away when on android

This has been happening too often. I find it easier to edit on my 11" iPad Pro. I will take a picture on my Samsung S10+, open Lightroom for photos to import, go to the iPad and edit the photo. The issue is when I go back to my S10 Lightroom, the edits go away. It is syncing. I see the edits in the thumbnail, and if I click on the photo, I'll see the edits for about two seconds and then the photo "updates" and it goes back to original form. This is so frustrating. Anyone have suggestions on what I can do? 

If I edit on my phone, it syncs and stays everywhere.
