Hello

I’ve been struggling for months to troubleshoot this issue with lightroom. When I go to use the mask option (the option where you can choose radiant gradient, liner gradient- you can also filter the sky or the person as the main object to edit) Well any time i do this- it distorts my photos to what i assume as negative colors ( green, white, blacks) never really enhancing the subject I want to focus on.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success.

Is there anyone out there that has experienced this? It’s incredibly frustrating, so I’m hoping it’s a simple fix.

I’ve tried running my issues through chatgpt- tried that troubleshooting to no avail.

thank you

    Hey @francine_1448

This sounds like a frustrating issue to run into. I’d be happy to help troubleshoot, but I’ll need a bit more information first.

Could you please share which version of Lightroom Desktop you’re currently using? You can find this under Help > System Info. Please copy and paste the full report into a text file and attach it to your response.

It would also help if you could share:

    • A screenshot of the issue

    • The exact steps to reproduce it

Happy to help, just need a few more details to investigate further.
