Edits not saving in Lightroom 3.4

After about 20-30 minutes of using Lightroom all the edits that I have worked on during that time vanish and my photos go back to the original. Also it will not allow me to quit or close the progam, I have to force quit in order to restart it. This was occuring with Lightroom 3.3 as well. Is this happening to anyone else? How can I fix it?

    I've been having the same issue 😥

    I'm having the same issue! If I walk away and come back and start editing, none of the edits save. The program seems to be asleep. Even when the program is functioning I cannot get it to quit. 

     

    I'm on Macbook Pro (16, inch, 2019)

    Lightroom 3.4

    mac OS Catalina 10.15.6
