Eliminate seeing previously deleted files on the iPad

I load my files directly to Lightroom on my Mac where I delete the unwanted files. When I look at the albums on the mac, I do not see the deleted files within the albums. When I look at the albums on the iPad, I do see the deleted files. How to I eleiminate seeing the deleted files on my iPad?
