EXIF Software Tag and AI marker

My workflow is export pictures across unsung Nikon SnapBridge. Edit them in the main Lightroom IOS, then upload the odd one to Instagram. 

I’ve noticed that a few of my pictures had been marked as potential AI so I started to investigate. Load the NEF into Lightroom, zero edits, convert to JPEG, upload to Instagram….. flagged as potentially AI. I then tried the same but used another store instead of Lightroom, picture uploaded no AI marker.

My next rabbit hole was looking at the EXIF data. All normal. I then edited the software category so it was blank by removing “Adobe Lightroom 11.4.10 (iOS)”, uploaded to Instagram and no AI marker.

So it look like Instagram is adding an AI label to my pictures if they’ve gone through Lightroom iOS, even if I’m not using an AI feature such as denoise etc. Anyone noticed this?
