Export from other software to Lightroom

I am trying to export an image from DxO PhotoLab to Lightroom. When I export the file, I receive this error in Lightroom: An internal Error has occured -

[string "PluginInit.lua"]:22: Cannot retrieve data from the Lightroom catalog. The catalog might be corrupted.

What does that mean, and how can I fix it?

Thanks. It wasn’t quite so easy, but I worked with an Adobe specialist yesterday and we solved the problem.

Thanks again for your help.

Export TO Lightroom is not a possibility.

Lightroom is not a photo 'editor' but rather a database manager.

You need to Export photos from DxO to a local folder location and then Import the files to the Lightroom-Classic Catalog. (Or 'Add' [+] to the catalog in Lightroom-Cloud based)

As an alternative: Lightroom-Classic can use the 'Auto-Import' function.  Export from DxO to a "Watched Folder" and LR-Classic can Auto-Import to a "Destination" folder and add the files to the catalog.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Lightroom CC. The list of questions in your reply are not exporting TO Lightroom, only from. My issue is exporting To Lightroom.

Lightroom CC doesn't exist as a name anymore but confusingly both what is now Lightroom Classic and Lightroom (Cloud Based) have been kind of been called that.

I believe you can only export to the traditional Lightroom (now called Classic) but not the newer Cloud Based one.

Assume then, it's the traditional Lightroom you are having the issue with?
