Exporting face tag metadata

Hi

 

When I export a photo in Lightroom desktop/web, metadata like ratings or keywords is correctly exported as XMP/IPTC tags, embedded in JPEG files. But face tagging doesn't get exported at all. Other Adobe tools (like Lightroom classic) already export face tagging as XMP tags.

 

Is there any setting to enable this behaviour in Lightroom desktop?

Hey, @Jesús37570213drfh. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll clarify this for you.

 

The People tags in Lightroom desktop are generated at the Cloud and the face tags are not treated similar to how keywords are like Lightroom Classic.

Hi, thanks for your fast response.

 

I get that face tags are generated by the cloud. But I fail to understand why they're considered metadata (and exported as such) by Ligthroom Classic, but Lightroom desktop doesn't do the same and treats them differently.
