Exporting image not keeping it preset on it?

Has anyone had the problem, when exporting image it is not keeping its presets?

How (in what format) do you export the image? And what exactly do you mean with 'not keeping its preset'? Is the effect lost? Or is the preset not listed when the client imports the image in Lightroom?

what app are you using to export and what are you exporting?

Edit an image in lightroom with my preset (slight luminance) to send out as high resolution to a client
