Exporting Raw files and Date modified

When I exported "Export Original", LR generated RAW files and xmp files.

The modified dates of RAW files were the original dates when pictures were taken.

However, recent updates of LR changed this to exported dates.

I was wondering why Adobe has changed this function.

I prefer original dates rather than exported dates.
