External Denoise focus on DNG or raw?

I am really trying to use Lightroom CC as I just hate the catalog part of LRC. This last update is absolutely slow as hell in LRC and always seems to be loading something!

My biggest issue with CC is that after using Adobe Denoise, the focus remains on the raw file and NOT on the created DNG. This to me is just NOT how it should be and is NOT how LRC (and ARC I think) behave. If that were changed or at least have an option to do that I would be set.

So, because I have asked this before and basically got ignored, I am thinking of going in a bit different direction.

If I buy and use Topaz Photo AI through CC, when it returns to CC after denoising, will the focus be on the DNG or the RAW?
