Eyedropper tool is not working on latest version of Lr on Mac OS

Unfortunately following a recent software update to Lr CC which I completed via the Adobe Creative Cloud app on my Macbook (OS 12.5 Monterey), the eyedropper tool does not work. When I select the eyedropper tool, it does not allow me to select anything on the image and adjust the white balance/colour, it just reverts to the selection tool. Has anyone else encountered this problem and been able to fix it? It works OK in Lr Classic so it's definitely a specific problem in the Lr CC app.

I've tried to recreate this & I could not recreate this. Could you please share a screen recording of Lightroom? Use the Quicktime player to record the screen. Go to File > New Screen recording & upload to Creative Cloud files (https://assets.adobe.com/files) and share with us.

 

  • Quit Lightroom.

  • macOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.

     

  • While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom & click 'Yes' to reset Lightroom.
