Question

Files/Folders from Classic or Desktop?

I used to use LR Classic, and moved over to the CC / Cloud based on years ago...

Currently trying to clean up space on my HDD and found that in my Pictures folder, I have my Lightroom CC "Library" file, but also a folder called Lightroom that's 100gb - but when I look inside, it seems to look a lot more like what I remember from the Classic days.

Am I right in saying that Lightroom CC should only exist in two places - the Library file within Pictures, as well as wherever one designates to keep originals (set within Preferences > Local Storage) ?

Therefore, that "Lightroom" folder contain backups, mobile downloads, a couple .lrdata packages, and a .lrcat package - all of that is a hold over from Classic and, seeing as I don't even have the app any more let alone use it, it is entirely safe to delete?

Or am I misunderstanding this?

Yes, that's correct. If you're happy that all of your photos are safely in the cloud, then you can go ahead and delete those files. Personally I might be included to just keep a zipped copy of the LRCAT file in case you someday remember something you forgot, but I'll admit I'm a bit of a pack rat!
