Filmstrip will not stop scrolling

Please help, my photos will not stop scrolling and it is making it impossible to edit ANYTHING. I start to edit a photo and then it autoscrolls to the first photo in the batch. 
ITS MAKIN ME CRAZY. I have uninstalled, I have restarted, I have tried deleting and reimporting the photos... please help.
