Filter by Edited is delayed and not reliable.

LR version: V10.4.4 on android

OS: Android 15 on Samsung z fold 5

Steps: Edit any photo. Filter by edited status. The recently edited photo does not appear instantly.

Expected result:

Hi,

I do understand edits need to be uploaded and takes time. In some tests, I waited until it's all uploaded, and made sure there isn't loading/upload animation icon. Then applied the filter. The last few edited photos still didn't appear in the filtered list.

After waiting for a minute or less, they did appear when filter is applied again.

Some might say I can just wait for a minute.

But who can guarantee that a minute is enough?

If I have a total of 100 photos, and edited some 50 photos (but don't remember the number), how would I ensure the filtered list would show all the edits I have made? Seeing thr last edited photo is the way? Well, I am not sure if I am missing some earlier photos.

Eventually, why don't you use local photo status when this filter is applied? No matter if it's fully uploaded or not, local storage should have those edited photos, and LR app must know that those photos are edited. So, when a filter is appled, it can show just edited photos as well.

This is important in my process.

I edit some photos selectively.

Filter by edited.

Select the list then export.

I always triple check if I see all the edits. That's stressful. Please fix this. Thank you

Are you also entering a search query in addition to filtering by edited? That would make it a cloud search rather than a local search, explaining the delay.
