Filter for HighRes content in Cloud

Hi,

according to my workflow I import my iPhone Photos to LR mobile, sync it with LR Classic on my mac, delete them from LR classic (library only) and import the HughRes content to my NAS. This way I free my Cloud storage and backup the HighRes (non-Smart Preview) content on my NAS.

Now some 2,3GB remain in my CloudStorage. Is there any way to find out which full resolution content is still in my cloud / not synchronized?
Thanks for your support in advance!

Best regards,

André

In Lightroom Desktop you can use the Filter bar to select the "Sync Status" option. That will tell you which images are "Synced & Backed Up" (i.e. full-resolution originals which are therefore included in your cloud storage usage) and which are "Synced from Lightroom Classic" (i.e. smart previews synced from Classic which do not count against your cloud storage usage).

I agree with the OP. No providing this option anywhere else than in the LR app for desktop is a bad thing. The should be a filter on mobile devices and on the web platform.
It clearly looks like an attempt to make it difficult to filter out this content and to complicate the "mobile workflow".

Wondering why you import to Lr Classic and the delete from the library... Have you connected and browsed to your external directly from your phone? If your goal is simply to store the photos from Lightroom on your phone to the external drive this will save you some time.

Once I deleted the pictures and videos synced to my local macbook hard drive from the catalog my cloud gets "empty". Once reimported and at the same time moved to my NAS (e.g. after a vacation) LR creates smart previews, which then again, by syncing the respective colletion with LR CC/mobile appear in the cloud and on all my devices but do not consume anymore cloud and only little device volume. Does that make any sense to you:-)?

Maybe one more thing. I import my e.g. iPhone photos on the device itself via LR mobile app and this synchronizes with LR Classic again, where the rest mentioned above happens.

I see. You talked about Lightroom CC desptop. As I heared some should avoid to use it together with LR classic (on the same machine), I haven't that one installed. But a reply to one of your posts might help:

Currently syncing 106k photos. We'll see...!

Thanks anyway! Best regards,
