Filtering file types in cloud (smart previews & RAW/JPEG)

Hi,

I trying to free up space in my Adobe cloud by deleting files, which are backed up in the original (e.g. RAW or JPEG file). As I have synchronized parts of my Lightroom Classic collections, they show up as well in Lightroom as smart previews. The problem is, that I see no filtering option in the Lightroom app to see the photos that are backed up in RAW/JPEG or smart preview. I am aware that you can click on the cloud symbol if you are looking at a photo in the Lightroom app, however, I do not want to look at every single photo individually but rather have a filtering option.

Any idea on how to solve this?

Using the Lightroom desktop app, first click on All Photos, then click on the Filter icon (right-hand end of the central Search Bar). That produces a set of filter options, click on the "Sync Status" option which in turn shows a list of different sync types: "Synced & Backed Up" are the images that exist in the cloud in full original form, i.e. they're the images that are counting towards your cloud space allowance. "Synced from Lightroom Classic" are all the images that exist in the cloud as smart previews, and so are not counting against your cloud storage allowance.

I agree with the OP. No providing this option anywhere else than in the LR app for desktop is a bad thing. The should be a filter on mobile devices and on the web platform.

It clearly looks like an attempt to make it difficult to filter out this content and to complicate the "mobile workflow".
