Question

Folder lists photos, but the photos are not in that drive

Hello- I have an issue where the folder panel is stating there are photos in my C drive, but then I click on that folder, there are no photos. Even when I navigate to that folder in explorer, there are no photos I can find. That folder has been there for a while. I think I added it a while back when I was trying to experiment with some AI assist culling software. Thoughts?

And I had a brain lapse- you will not see [folders] in Develop module- so that is not the problem. It is a weird one.

You could try -closing LrC, deleting the ‘helper’  {CatalogName Helper.lrcat} folder, reopen LrC. {xxxxhelper.lrcat folder is in same folder as catalog.).

DO NOT delete your catalog file. (You do have a recent backup?)

Or do a Preferences reset.  PREFERENCES RESET (Adobe)

I haven’t tried AI culling yet so I cannot comment on its possible effects.

Ugh. So sorry. I thought I was in Classic.

I’ll try those steps you recommend. Thanks-

Your screen-clip does not show the whole interface, but are you in the Develop module? I ask because it states “No Photo Selected”.

Does Library view make a difference? Or do you currently have a filter active?

Hi Rob. I’m in library and have no filters set.
