Force LR for iPad OS to sync new photos added to synced collections on LRC

Question

I use LR Classic exclusively for importing photos, and creating synced collections. I use LR on iPad strictly for viewing these synced collections. Sometimes I will add a new photo to a synced collection from LRC and maybe it shows up in LR for iPad but frequently it doesn't. If it doesn't show up on iPad, the only way I have found to get it to show up is to go to my desktop (a Mac) , quit LRC and restart it. After that the newly synced photo(s) will show up on LR for iPad. I keep my software up to date on all my devices. This has been happening REGULARLY for years (as long as I can remember). Is it possible to force LR on iPad to show the newly synced photos so I don't have to quit and restart LRC?

if quitting and restarting Lightroom Classic solves this, then the problem apparently is that Lightroom Classic does not (always) sync them up to the cloud. That means it's obvious that you cannot change that by doing something on the iPad, because that is not where the problem occurs.
