Freeing up space

Question

Does anyone know if there is a way to free up space in Lightroom without deleting photos? I have some things wedding albums I need to clear out, however I don't want the people I shared the photos with to lose their photos in the event they are still using the links

Hey, @Haley_B5703. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

In Lightroom on your desktop, you can Archive collections & store them locally on your machine to free up cloud storage. Follow the steps here: https://adobe.ly/3OWEriC

However, this may be half of the solution for your workflow as the shared albums may not work. You'll need images to be on the cloud for the Shared albums to work.
