freezed immediatlety to try to sync a huge "ghost" amount of photos

Hello,

 

it's almost 4-5 weeks that I'm facing a very annoying behaviour from cloud functions. I can't understand because the syncronization btw my Lightroom mobile and Lighroom Desktop is no more working as usual. I spend an amount of euros every month to pay a service that is no more usable... Another issue is that both mobile version and desktop version start a sync procedure and start to be freezed immediatlety to try to sync a huge "ghost" amount of photos.

Hi @Castaphotography, Thank you for reaching out! I can understand how frustrating it is to experience this behavior.

 

Could you help me with the versions of Lightroom and Lightroom mobile, as well as the OS you're using on the desktop and your phone? Did you start experiencing this after updating either of the two apps or the operating system on the mobile or desktop? If possible, sharing relevant screenshots or a screen recording would be really helpful. You can share them via a public file-sharing platform like Google Drive or WeTransfer.

 

Here are a few things to try in the meantime:

 

1) Update everything: If you haven't already, update both the apps and the OS.

 

2) Restart your devices. A simple restart can fix a lot of issues.

 

3) Pause and resume Sync on both devices by clicking the cloud icon and syncing, then resuming it.
