Group stack and ungroup stack not working

Question

Go the the album
Steps Assisted Culling 
Visual similarity stacks are made
Working in grid view you see the stack.
Now you want to ungroup the stack or group stack.
Right click scroll down to the bottom of the drop down box and group stack and ungroup stack are greyed.
Last week they werent 
Anyone know how to fix or had the same promlem

I am unable to replicate this failure using the provided instructions. Note that between your steps four and five, you must commit the stacking by hitting the [Create Stack] button. Until that moment, the stacks are transient and grayed-out options are expected.
