Healing Brush won't clone

Unlikely. If this was a bug, it would have been reported hundreds of times. It must be something on your computer. Please describe exactly what you are trying to do and what does (not) happen. "Just won't work in general" could mean anything. Post screenshots if necessary (embed them in your post, don't attach them).

Check the brush settings. Maybe the Opacity is set to (almost) zero?
