Help! Files appear to be unsupported or damaged!

I have uploaded RAW files from my Nikon D3400 to Lightroom, and they all show up just fine. To be clear, Lightroom is up to date, and I have no problem viewing and editing the pictures. The issue is when I try to export them to a folder on my desktop. Each time I try to complete the export, a report returns saying that roughly 50-75% of the files are unsupported or damaged. From here, I am able to select each photo individually and export it with positive results. My question is, how can I fix this so that the entire batch is saved properly?

The only thing I can suggest is to try exporting to a folder that is NOT on the desktop. I have found that SOMETIMES Windows is a little temperamental when dealing with the desktop. Not always, but I have encountered difficulties at times. Sorry, but I have no other suggestions.

What exact version on Lightroom are you using? What operating system are you using? How much free disk space is there on the hard drive you are exporting to?

Lightroom system says 4.0 X64, operating system is Windows 10, 198 GB free on the hard drive.
