Help importing multi exposure images

Hi

I am experimenting ceating multi exposure shots in camera and when i try to import to lightroom it says the raw files are not supported. Can anyone offer any help...keep it simple please. I'm using lightroom5 which i have just updated online ans images are created in my Canon 7dmkii.
